Brian N. Kaufman - Managing Director in the Kansas City office, and a founder of the firm. Brian is responsible for managing client relationships, investment manager due diligence and serves on the firm's Investment Committee. Brian also coordinates business, legal, and tax matters with clients and their legal and tax advisers. Prior to forming Prairie Capital, Brian practiced law for over a decade, most recently as a partner with the Kansas City office of a major international law firm. His practice emphasized tax law, securities law, and venture capital. Prior to practicing law, Brian was a certified public accountant who practiced with a Big Six accounting firm. Brian serves, or has recently served, on the Board of The Heart of America United Way - Alexis de Tocqueville Society; the Board of the Music Theatre for Young People; the United Way Planned Giving Advisory Committee; the Board, Investment, and Audit Committees of the Menorah Legacy Foundation; and the Board and Finance Committee of the Salvation Army. He received a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration (with Highest Distinction) from the University of Kansas, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School.

Robyn R. Schneider - Managing Director in the Chicago, Illinois office, and a founder of the firm. Rob is responsible for managing client relationships, investment manager due diligence and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. Rob has been a professional in the investment industry for over two decades, and was one of the first individuals selected by Kidder, Peabody & Co. in the late 1980s to participate in its investment consulting program for high net worth individuals, families, foundations and endowments. Rob currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Kansas State University Foundation. Rob earned a B.S. in Finance and Business Marketing from Kansas State University.

Curtis A. Krizek - Managing Director in the Kansas City office, and a founder of the firm. Curtis is responsible for managing client relationships, investment manager due diligence and serves on the firm's Investment Committee. Curtis also coordinates business, legal, and tax matters with clients and their legal and tax advisers. Prior to forming Prairie Capital, Curtis practiced law for over a decade, most recently as a partner with a major regional law firm based in Kansas City, specializing in corporate, securities, real estate and finance law. Curtis serves, or has served, on the boards of various organizations, including The University of Virginia Jefferson Scholars Foundation Advisory Board, The REACH Healthcare Foundation, The Nature Conservancy (Kansas Chapter), the Kansas Development Finance Authority, the Kansas State University Foundation, The Peregrine Fund, The Kansas City Ballet, Centurions Civic Leadership Program, and the State of Kansas Indigents’ Defense Services. He graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Life Sciences (Honors Program, Phi Kappa Phi), and received a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Andrew S. Klocke - Managing Director in the Kansas City office. Andy is responsible for managing client relationships, investment manager due diligence and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. Andy earned four First Team Academic All-Big 12 Conference honors as a four year letterman on the Kansas State University football team. Andy serves on the Community Advisory Committee of The REACH Healthcare Foundation, and is an alumnus of the Kansas City Tomorrow leadership program. He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance (Phi Kappa Phi) and his M.B.A. from Kansas State University.

Beau M. Wehrle - Managing Director in the Denver, Colorado office. Beau is responsible for managing client relationships, investment manager due diligence and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Prairie Capital, Beau served as Vice President of Intermediary Sales for Man Investments Inc., one of the world’s largest hedge fund / alternative investment managers. He was responsible for consulting with financial advisers regarding the implementation of alternative investment strategies to individuals, corporations, trusts, and foundations in the western half of the United States. Prior to that, Beau gained extensive financial experience, serving as a Regional Director for the Janus Capital Group in the Institutional Sales Division, where he was responsible for a twelve state region. He received his B.G.S. from the University of Kansas.

John G. O’Brien - Managing Director in the Radnor, Pennsylvania office. John is responsible for managing client relationships, investment manager due diligence and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. John has over 40 years of experience in the investment industry. Most recently, John served as Vice Chairman and Director of Equity Capital Markets at George K. Baum & Company. Prior to that, John spent eighteen years at Goldman Sachs & Co. working with wealthy family groups and institutions. From there, John became Managing Director/Senior Adviser at Credit Suisse First Boston for ten years. John has been a Trustee of the Interactivity Foundation, a founding Trustee of the Center for Entrepreneurial Study and Development and, prior to his move to Radnor, a Trustee of the University of Missouri-Kansas City. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, John earned his M.B.A. at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Joseph W. Michaud - Managing Director in the Denver, Colorado office. Joe is responsible for managing client relationships, investment manager due diligence and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Prairie Capital, Joe was an Investment Consultant with Monticello Associates, where he was responsible for advising institutional and family office clients and was active in manager due diligence and other research functions. Prior to his years at Monticello Associates, Joe served in a variety of roles at Fidelity Investments in Boston, including positions in corporate development, private equity, and debt capital markets. Joe serves, or has recently served, on the boards and advisory committees of various civic, educational, and cultural organizations. He also organizes and leads an annual international service trip for U.S. high school students. Joe received his A.B. from Bowdoin College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
