INVESTMENT PROCESS
Prairie Capital’s investment consulting philosophy centers upon the concept of providing objective, flexible and sophisticated services tailored specifically to the needs of each client. At Prairie Capital, we actively address our clients' investment management concerns and challenges through a process that involves several steps.
- Evaluation of the client's current investment portfolio
- Public equity and income securities, alternative investments, private equity holdings, real
estate holdings, and special situations (e.g., sale of business, low basis stocks, generational transitions, etc.), among others
- Review income requirements, any investment restrictions and any other relevant investment considerations
- Evaluate impact of taxes on client’s investment management strategies
- Origination of an investment policy statement
- Formulation of an asset allocation plan
- Search of our extensive databases of professional money managers to find managers that meet the criteria of a client's investment policy. Portfolios typically include multiple asset classes and investment styles structured to reduce risk through selecting underlying investment managers whose returns have historically shown low correlations
- Ongoing customized portfolio and manager monitoring and analysis
Prairie Capital works closely with each client in this process to create a customized investment management program.
Prairie Capital has proprietary product offerings, which offer certain qualified clients an opportunity to invest in products such as: diversified equity funds; retirement-qualified diversified equity funds; multi-strategy hedge funds; private equity funds; and real estate funds, among others.
